The Emerge at Auburn kickoff — a full-scale program launch for 1,022 Auburn freshmen, five months in the making, designed to ignite excitement around a brand new student leadership initiative.
Auburn University’s Emerge program was built with a clear purpose: develop young leaders who are ready to make an impact on campus, in their communities, and in their careers. Before any of that could happen, though, the program needed to be introduced to the students it was built for — and that introduction needed to be unforgettable.
Elevate was brought in to make sure it was.
Over five months of planning, our team partnered with Auburn, ADDO, and Technical Elements to dream, design, and produce a full-scale kickoff experience for 1,022 Auburn freshmen. The day introduced students to Emerge, created genuine excitement around what the program makes possible, and sent over a thousand young leaders into their college careers with a clear sense that something meaningful had just begun.
Jeff Foxworthy was there. Forty-four confetti cannons fired. And 1,022 students walked out inspired.
A program launch of this scale — for over 1,000 students, with five months of planning — needed a partner who could own the full process, not just show up on the day.
Launch a brand new student leadership program to over 1,000 Auburn freshmen in a way that created genuine excitement and buy-in — making Emerge feel like something worth being part of from the very first moment students encountered it.
Elevate led the process from ideation through execution — partnering with Auburn, ADDO, and Technical Elements to understand the goals, the audience, and the ideal outcome, then building every element of the day around creating a high-energy, memorable experience that made the Emerge mission impossible to ignore.
Eleven people and five months of planning behind a single, unforgettable program launch.
Over 1,000 Auburn freshmen left the Emerge kickoff inspired and genuinely excited about the program they’d just been introduced to. That’s the only metric that matters for a program launch — and it landed.
The five months of planning showed in every detail. The partnerships with ADDO and Technical Elements showed in the quality of the production. Jeff Foxworthy showing up didn’t hurt. And when 44 confetti cannons fired at once for 1,022 students experiencing their very first Emerge moment — that’s not something anyone in the room forgot on the walk back to their dorm.
For Elevate, this is exactly the kind of work we exist for: helping organizations launch something meaningful in a way that makes the people it’s built for feel the weight and the excitement of it from day one.
Whether you’re planning for 50 or 5,000, we design, plan, and produce events that people actually remember.
