Ever thought about the proper setup for an awards table? If you haven’t, that’s okay! We’re here to help. Awards table setup is an important detail that can be easily overlooked. By having an organized table, giving out awards and transitioning to & from recipients becomes a smooth process, instead of a quiet fiasco backstage. This is merely a simple detail that can make a big impact.

How to prep awards:

  • Place a table on the side of the stage
  • (Optional) cover awards using a black cloth/sheet
  • Match awards with order the of people coming on-stage

Once you’ve properly set up your table, you’re going to want to run-through your event to test the actuals. Even if you’ve used a piece of equipment in the past 6 months, month, or last week, it’s still important to give it a test to make sure there are no malfunctions when it comes to event day.
