Little League World Series 2018 — two weeks of brand activations in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, bringing thousands of families from around the globe into moments they won’t forget.
Every summer, children aged 10–12 from around the world converge on Williamsport, Pennsylvania for the Little League World Series — two weeks of competition, community, and the kind of pure sporting joy that reminds everyone why they fell in love with the game in the first place.
In 2018, an Atlanta-based restaurant chain saw an opportunity: introduce their brand to a new market in a way that felt genuinely aligned with what the Little League World Series is all about — family, community, and fun. They brought Elevate in to make it happen across two distinct activations.
The Welcome Dinner brought all 16 competing teams from around the world together for a shared meal before competition began — strangers sitting down together, and friends standing up to leave.
The Dugout Dance Booth ran for seven full days, inviting families to step into a dugout-themed booth, pick a song, and dance with the restaurant’s mascot for 30–60 seconds. At the end, every group got a high-quality video of their moment — a memory to take home from Williamsport.
By the time the two weeks were done, thousands of families from across the globe had danced through that booth. And every single one of them knew the brand that made it happen.
This restaurant chain didn’t just want visibility at the Little League World Series. They wanted to demonstrate — in a real, tangible way — how much they value family and community. That takes more than a banner and a logo.
Introduce a brand to a brand new market — an international audience of families, players, and fans gathered for one of sport’s most beloved tournaments — in a way that felt authentic, joyful, and genuinely on-brand rather than promotional.
We designed two activations built around real human moments: a shared dinner that turned 16 rival teams into friends, and a dance booth that gave thousands of families a 60-second memory to carry home. Elevate acted as the megaphone — creating the energy, running the experience, and making the brand the reason the moment happened.
Seven people running two simultaneous activations for thousands of international visitors over two weeks.
Sixteen teams arrived at the Welcome Dinner from different countries, different cultures, and different corners of the world — and left as friends. That’s not something that happens automatically. It happens when the environment is designed to make it possible.
And in the Dugout Dance Booth, thousands of families — from across the U.S. and around the globe — stepped in, picked a song, danced with a mascot, and walked away with a video that captured a genuine moment of joy. Not a promotional gimmick. A real memory made possible by a brand that showed up and created something worth experiencing.
Williamsport got a first look at an incredible brand — and it was the best possible introduction.
