Scheduling Institute Young Adults Conference — a two-day virtual experience helping students ages 12–24 prepare for the journey ahead
Elevate has partnered with Scheduling Institute across a wide range of events — but this one was different. The annual Young Adults Conference brings together students ages 12–24, children of Scheduling Institute clients, for an experience designed to do something most conferences don’t even try: teach young people how to actually live well.
This year’s theme was The Open Road — a road trip metaphor woven through every session, from beginning the journey with the end in mind, to choosing the right passengers, to celebrating the end of one road before moving on to the next. It was the first time the conference went fully virtual, and the first time Elevate helped bring it to life in that format.
Seventy students joined from across the United States for two days of content, conversation, and connection — and they left with a custom workbook full of tangible takeaways to carry the journey forward.
Scheduling Institute didn’t just need someone to host — they needed a creative partner to help build the thing from scratch.
Take a beloved in-person student conference fully virtual for the first time — without losing the energy, depth, or personal connection that made it meaningful in the first place.
We came in at the idea stage, helping brainstorm the Open Road theme and then building everything around it — session content, student workbook, games, breakout room activities, speaker prep, and a minute-by-minute run of show. By the time event day arrived, every detail was accounted for.
Six people. Two days. Seventy students across the country. Here’s who made it happen.
Taking this conference virtual for the first time was a risk — and it paid off. Students from across the United States showed up, engaged, and left with something real. Ten activations across two days kept the energy high and the attention focused. And the Open Road workbook meant the experience didn’t end when the Zoom call did.
For the Elevate team, the SI team, and most importantly the students themselves, this one mattered.
Whether you’re planning for 50 or 5,000, we design, plan, and produce events that people actually remember.
