The Elevate Internship Program may be just what you are looking for! Our goal is to bring along leaders who are looking to add value to what we do, while growing personally and professionally. Interns will gain experience by working alongside Elevate team members, participating in Elevate events, and interacting with our clients.

Who is Elevate Experiences?

We are a brand experience agency based in the Atlanta area that partners with organizations to activate over 350 experiences per year. We partner with clients to activate events, consulting, leadership, and innovation. Our clients range from non-profits to major corporations, with group size ranging from 10 people to 100,000.

Internship Opportunities:

Client Services Intern – Main focus of this role: Event logistics and client care

The Client Services Intern will work alongside the Client Services Department to focus on projects that will help with event logistics and client care. Projects include, but are not limited to:

      • Assisting with event logistics 
      • Research and any prep needed for events
      • Sending out client care packages
      • Writing handwritten notes for team and clients
      • Errands to keep the office running smoothly
      • Greeting guests and leading office tours
      • Team care 
      • Research
      • Working various Elevate events

Experience Intern – Main focus of this role: Working events and assisting with experience

The Experience Intern will work alongside the Client Services Department to execute various roles at events. Projects include, but are not limited to:

      • Hosting or emceeing at events 
      • Setting up and breaking down equipment
      • Creating new in-person and Keynote games to use at events
      • Manage equipment (cleaning, storage, organization, making sure broken items get fixed) 
      • Working as an event assistant at many events (extra hands for whatever is needed)
      • Running music at events 
      • Testing out new equipment, games and other experience elements

Creative Intern – Main focus of this role: Social media creation and blog writing

The Creative Intern will work alongside the Creative Department to push forward the Elevate brand and add value to our readers and clients. Projects include, but are not limited to:

      • Writing blogs, social media captions, case studies, and email campaigns
      • Assist with social media strategy and brainstorms to achieve Elevate’s branding goals 
      • Researching and implementing copywriting best practices
      • Assisting in the creation of ad copy, newsletters, flyers, and website copy
      • Editing team members’ written content
      • Assisting with YouTube video scripts 
      • Scheduling social media posts and updating the social media calendars
      • Researching and implementing SEO best practices
      • Updating the Elevate website to reflect current content (adding new blog pages, updating landing page content, uploading new photos, answering comments, etc.)
      • Working various Elevate events

Media Intern – Main focus of this role: Filming and editing videos and podcasts

The Media Intern will work alongside the Creative Department to create content. Projects include, but are not limited to:

      • Capturing photos and videos to use for social media and marketing materials
      • Researching and logging data and keywords for SEO to be used for podcasts and YouTube
      • Editing podcasts, videos, and photos 
      • Researching best practices and staying ahead of creative trends
      • Assisting with YouTube and Podcast platforms
      • Assisting in the publishing process of new videos, podcasts, and social media content
      • Assisting with media-related admin tasks
      • Helping push marketing, media, and brand projects forward
      • Working various Elevate events

Sales Intern – Main focus of this role: Selling and generating new leads

The Sales Intern will work alongside the Business Development Department to help grow the Elevate brand. Projects include, but are not limited to:

      • Assisting the Chief Strategy Officer with creating sales strategy for how to sell and market products/services
      • Researching potential clients we could serve
      • Cold calling and cold emailing potential leads to share services and products 
      • Attending networking events and having strong follow up with leads
      • Performing market analysis and research 
      • Working various Elevate events

 Schedule Expectations:

The Summer Internship runs May 18 – August 7, 2020. We offer part-time and full-time opportunities for all types of internships. Full-time internships have a time commitment of 40 hours a week. Part-time internships have a time commitment of 20 hours a week. In addition, interns should be willing to serve at in-town events and out of town events when possible. These events may occur after hours or on weekends. Please stay flexible and be ready to serve. 

Please note: All internships take place at the Elevate Home Office in Atlanta with some hours in office and some hours working off site.

 Pay:

All Elevate internships are paid, with full-time and part-time opportunities available. Housing, food and in-town travel expenses are not covered by Elevate. For travel events, all food and other expenses will be paid for.

Development Opportunities:

Applicants selected will receive development opportunities and professional experience. Interns will work on projects for some of our most important clients while learning more about the innovation process. Each intern will receive a personal development book that the team will read together, and will have the opportunity to participate in several other development sessions.

 Culture:

Interns are encouraged to be active and engaged participants in the Elevate culture. Elevate will provide culture opportunities throughout the semester that all interns are encouraged to participate in.
