Emerge at Auburn 2019

Emerge at Auburn aims to help Auburn students develop skills to lead on campus, in the community, and in their future career field. Through quality, meaningful and multiple access point leadership development opportunities, Emerge guides Auburn students in refining their profiles as successful, ethical and effective campus, community, industry and world leaders.

This is the 2nd year in a row that Auburn has trusted Elevate with their vision. The Elevate Team navigated the event from beginning to end, providing a host, a DJ, and multiple hands-on-deck. Elevate successfully collaborated with Emerge at Auburn and shined a light on the multiple opportunities within the program. Elevate also brought more than an external experience. The team provided Billy Boughey as the keynote speaker.

A closer look at Elevate’s role 

• Team members:  

10 Elevate team members, Keynote speaker, Project leader, Stage manager, logistics manager, DJ, Emcee, Photographer, Film, and event assistants.

• Pre-event tasks: In preparation for this event, Elevate created and produced an animated introduction video for Emerge, provided props, engaged in pre-planning meetings and logistics, videography and photography, and prepared for the speaking engagement.
• Event-day logistics: Checking technology equipment to ensure smooth live-streaming, setting up the stage, multiple run throughs.
• What we did throughout the event: Elevate hosted the ceremony, engaged with students, and provided a DJ with a creative playlist.

Event wins and stats, including:

• Number of attendees: 300+
• Event impact: Elevate got students at Auburn fired up and helped provide clarity on their leadership goals.
• Exciting moments: 30 confetti cannons going off at the same time, Billy Boughey keynote speaking and demonstration on stage.
