Gwinnett Student Leadership Team

Gwinnett Student Leadership Team holds an annual summit where the sharpest, most intelligent students in Gwinnett County School System come together to celebrate, vision cast, perform, and compete to see who will take home the coveted Spirit Stick. Sevendifferent schools are represented across the board at the event, totaling over 1500 students. The Summit serves as a launchpad to rising leaders of the new school.

The Elevate Team steers the event from top to bottom, providing multiple hosts, a DJ, and several servant hands-on-deck. Creating an energetic, fun, and inviting atmosphere is at the top of task list. By using activations, Elevate successfully connected each school with one another, collaborated with the GSLT board, and shined a bright light on each school present (as well as their sponsors).

• This year, Elevate brought more than an external experience – the team provided several keynote speakers for breakout sessions for GSLT students.
